Here is a list of concepts, terms and definitions for the Level Playing Field.
The following graphs demonstrate a relationship between a selection of concepts, terms and definitions which may unravel confusion.
Concepts are using a Primary Term to organise other terms into a fit of description and explanation.
In argumentation theory, a term (or notion) is that part of a statement in an argument which refers to a specific thing. A term is usually, but not always expressed as a noun. According to Essentials of Logic, the word is derived from the Latin “terminus.”
A conceptual framework is an analytical tool with several variations and contexts. It can be applied in different categories of work where an overall picture is needed. It is used to make conceptual distinctions and organize ideas. Strong conceptual frameworks capture something real and do this in a way that is easy to remember and apply. A curriculum framework is an organized plan or set of standards or learning outcomes that defines the content to be learned in terms of clear, definable standards of what the student should know and be able to do.
