Dear friends,

This is my message at the end of the 2023 commemoration season for Queensland and Brisbane, and speaks for work of the Southern Brisbane Suburban Forum Inc., in 2024, 2025, and so forth.

In 2022 the Forum had an important discussion on how we can “Break the Cycle” of responding to flood disasters and begin proactively planning for a better, more resilient future. The Forum considered planning, infrastructure, housing and emergency response and how we can develop smarter and wiser solutions to future challenges.  Local residents had the opportunity to put their questions to the expert panel via a moderated Q&A session.

What I said in 2022 still holds true in the present and in the years to come.

Part 1: We are a Forum and We Are Here to Help.
Part 2: The Philosophic-Intellectual Histories in the Localities.
Part 3: The SBSF Inc., The Forum.
Part 4: The 2023-2024 Commemorations.
Part 5: The 2025 Commemoration.
Part 6: Municipalities and State Governments need to LISTEN and UNDERSTAND the knowledge-bases.

Kind regards,
Neville.
