Digital History Imagery
One of the new, contemporaneous, practices in local history is the creation of digital image galleries.
A significant example of a local history gallery put together correctly, according to the rules and principles of professional archives, can be found here.
Dr Buch is a very experienced designer of digital image galleries. He has acted as a consultant to several local history organisations on developing image collections using correct archival techniques.
