The second essay in the series on the emerging field of Cognition History (and Cognition Sociology). The essay begins with considering a Picture-Image, as an example of imaginary in perception. This leads to challenging the politics of thinking. The neuroscience backgrounds these challenges. So, the question has to be asked, is it, wilful ignorance or is it cultural anti-intellectualism?

The third and final essay in the series on the emerging field of Cognition History (and Cognition Sociology). With a postscript to follow. This final essay discusses the concept of wilful ignorance, the existential crisis of the humanities, the anti-intellectualism thesis, and the popular outright rejection of the sociology discipline. The essay ends with a call for solutions in revaluating digital humanities projects. A summary of Dr Buch’s conclusions of the Cognition Histories series is provided.

The Postscript for the series on the emerging field of Cognition History (and Cognition Sociology). The Postscript applies the lessons from the three essays on Cognition History and Sociology to the current practice of the Australian Employment Industry, and as framed by unintelligent government policy; lacking in an understanding of the Cognition History and Sociology.
