Why do we put up with it?

Cultural misbehaviour sells the media story, and demonstrates what I have long said about the educational unintelligence of the Australian media.

…of course, I am not saying there are not excellent journalists and brilliant media pieces.

But without the scholarship in the public marketplace to back it up, it is all for naught.

EVERYWHERE YOU TURN.
We have decision-makers who are far less qualified to offer an opinion as the person never:

  • never had the degree education;
  • never read at depth; and/or
  • never done the research.

Editors, Politicians, CEOs, Councilors and Senators (including of the university) are supposed to heed the advice of their intelligent advisors. BUT DO THEY?

In the meantime those with the knowledge-base and skills are left out in the cold, in significant measure, in whatever truthful statistical numbers you wish to use. As for the stories and textual learning, see the media stories below…including:

Why do our decision-makers keep failing at meta-reflection learning and intelligence?

Missing and linked into these multiple issues is what I explained in, and sent out as, The American-Australian Center-Centre.

A colleague of mine stated, “Australian media -particularly the newspapers – have been appalling for our society.  Luckily the papers are disappearing but the problem is likely to transition to social media.”

This is my answer, recover the political center/centre.

Surely, we learn together….
