On
(Hidden) Intellectual History of Queensland Publication Project
Call for you to join a team to work together for the challenge to bring a manuscript to publication in Dr Neville Buch’s A Hidden Intellectual History of Queensland (Book Proposal). An American publisher has expressed interest. The process, though, is beyond one single historian and requires a team of members who have the fundraising, business and editing skills.
The Return:
- The writer cannot afford contracting prices (the historian is also priced out of the public market). However, arrangements could be made for peppercorn contracting. A discussion for the first team meeting.
- All Team Members will be acknowledged in the preface for their contribution, with high praise.
- The inclusion of any Team Member’s original insight, with each an influence on the re-editing and re-shaping for the final manuscript (with acknowledgement).

Dr Buch’s historiography challenges the Lockean idea of tabula rasa and argues that the history is beyond appearance, and appearance has to be challenge to reveal history in construction. It is constructed from personal experiences in total. This is the philosophy of existentialism which we get from writers such as Sartre and De Beauvoir. Dr Buch has already produce that history for Queensland in the volume of No regrets in the evening of life.
