Anniversaries and commemorations come and go daily. Most of us, even the best historians, miss most occasions.
Most people in Brisbane completely forgotten The Pearl disaster after 125 years. Expected, after so long? Yet we hear much said about the period 1823-1825 and 1842.
Nobody cares….
So much for the mouthing about heritage…
