On behalf of the Southern Brisbane Suburban Forum, and the Brisbane Southside History Network, I wish to thank you in your very supportive comments for our networks of community organisations, south of the Brisbane river.

 

The recent article “penned” by you in The Courier Mail was extraordinary community advocacy for municipal benefits in Southern Brisbane.

 

 

 

We thank you. I thank you as a local and Queensland historian. Future historians will say that this was the extraordinary moment that a higher education leader spoke out boldly for the sake of important community interest in South-East Queensland.
