If statehood were offered to Australia and New Zealand instead of to Canada, would they warm up faster to the idea of becoming part of the most powerful and richest country the world has ever seen? Are they more pro-America than Canadians?
That is the most ridiculous question I have ever heard, and that of any national historian has ever heard. Pause for a moment and think. What does statehood really mean? “Oh yes, but I mean the offer of American statehood!” Are you an idiot? What can the American statehood offer to Australia and New Zealand that Australia and New Zealand does not already have and actually values. The stupidest sale persons I have ever witnessed. The utter witlessness.
