Sick and Tired of Bullshit Stories

Have a better worldview. I had this guy turn up at the Coopers Plains Inspect the Archive event, it started okay but then at the very end it turn sour. As he yarn away, half of what he said sounded reasonable and possible but the other part sounded like bullshit. It went sour with his story of the Jordanian Officer and the goat in East Timor story. It sounded like an inferred attack on Islamic persons. I began to attempt to explain this understanding of personalism, but he just finished his unbelievable story and then got up, and when I was about to speak, he said “yes,  whatever” and walked out of the room, as I called out, “What’s wrong”. And there was not reply. Just silence. Silence from our blood-minded politicians. Silence from the Volk (folk).

I watch a documentary about William L. Shirer last night. I watched the whole series until 2.00 a.m. So compelling was the series pitch as being on the third reich, but, no, it was about the revealing historiography of William L. Shirer. I keep thinking, this is the same cognitive pattern (Hitlerian) spiralling in the mind of Donald Trump. Of course, Donald Trump is not Adolf Hitler, there are big difference as far as historical markers, but the reason why Trump is so soft (kind) with the American neo-Nazis is that the thought patterns are basically the same:

  • Scapegoat to gain power;
  • Minimise the perception of the violent rhetoric of your side and make the violent symbols of your political opponents your target for violence (at a minimum hatred);
  • Strengthen your personal power in the ensuring ‘phony’ civil war until it becomes ‘real’ warfare;
  • Wage total warfare;
  • Make others die for your ’cause’ or ‘mission’.

Is this mere opinion. NO. It is the historiographical facts of the 20th century spiralling into the 21st century. First, it is based on evidence of the overwhelming first-hand testimony, and secondly, the evidence has been tested by professional historians and shown to provide true (authentic or genuine) consensus. And finally, all professional revaluations since have made correction around nuanced questions but still affirm the original consensus.

To say anything which is not philosophically explained is **mere** opinion. However, what is expected for a truly educated society is **informed** opinion; here “truly” means something genuine or authentic, and “informed” means an educational process devoid of lying and propaganda or mere ignorance, that you actually know because you have an explanation and the explanation is built from tested evidence. On this basis: I have just given an explanation in the philosophy of history. All other statements to the contrary are all unphilosophical, running wild in the era of the liar Donald Trump. Why? Because there are no explanations of the working concepts in the language play. In this particular case: Propaganda and Truth, Führerprinzip and Democracy, Lying Expression and Intelligence, Blind Conformity and Deep Thought, etc.
