A phenomenological-existential investigation of the question of why populations stagnated into “more of the same” ‘bullshit’, as in Harry Frankfurt (2014). Frankfurt determines that bullshit is speech intended to persuade without regard for truth. The liar cares about the truth and attempts to hide it; the bullshitter doesn’t care whether what they say is true or false. This essay determines that issues begin with asking the correct question for the context, but the generic question is “What is my Thought, What is your Question?” It is an argument that truth is obtained when, as critical thinking, we each ask ourselves, what exactly is my thought: the truth process, and this is better aided by asking others, and ourselves what is the exact question being asked.
