‘Thinking being out of sync with itself’ goes to the problem of the relationship between historical consciousness, politics, and secularity. The confusion overlooks various interdisciplinary ‘consensus’ and ‘common agreement’ to which the American administration of Donald Trump is now demolishing. The essay method establishes a common agreement in the genealogy of thought from John Dewey, Karl Jaspers, Don Cupitt, and Robert B. Pippin. Despite their differences, the method traces a coherent intellectual trajectory culminated in a concept of ‘Historiographic Political Theology’. The central analytical framework for demonstrating this consensus, a deconstruction of the Trumpocence, is Dewey’s “Paradigm of Social Psychology.”
