Abstract
The intersection of Joshua Kyle T. Rovero’s “Metaphysics of Revolution” and the work of Dr. Neville Buch constitutes a 21st-century “new thinking” that redefines the mechanism of change in human society. Rovero redefines revolution not as a mere political event within nation-states, but as a profound civilizational shift and a universal mode of disclosure. This perspective aligns with Dr. Buch’s “Spiral Historiography” and his “Dynamic of Cognition” (DoC), which seek to overcome the “technical abyss” and the “immense regression” of the modern era. By integrating thinkers from the “Fontana Dictionary of Modern Thinkers”—such as Nietzsche, Dilthey, and Husserl—with post-1983 philosophers like Bernard Stiegler, Susan Haack, and Bernard Williams, this essay defends the restoration of human authorship. The argument posits that true social and intellectual progress requires a reflective ascent grounded in intersubjective mutuality and the reinvention of thought as care (panser).
