I hope that persons have not “pop” out of the online room, never to return; but I understand such reasons as ill health and the priority of other projects. That is my “innovating” thinking.
The reason to hound you this morning is Tom Fishburne’s explanation of the term “disruptive innovation” and the theory for this lifecycle of innovation.
It is further theoretical evidence for the spiral historiography applied to the problem of the techné mindset. What is so frustrating about the “stupidity” is what makes it stupid. In historical memory, such a way of thinking is stupid simply because in consciousness, it is common sense. Greed pushes us into the stupid commercial way of thinking and most human beings, those with open minds, know this and the damage it causes to society and the individual: impoverishment through unsatisfactory product design for the purpose of overpricing the customer in unnecessary “innovation” steps.
