As I Stand Mildly Crucified: Life of Jesus
Abstract
This essay presents a philosophical plea constructed through the “historical-critical” lens of David Strauss’ Life of Jesus, advocating for the professional employment of Dr. Neville Buch. It argues that just as Strauss sought to strip away the “mythical” layers of the New Testament to reveal the “Ethics of Jesus,” Dr. Buch’s work identifies and deconstructs the “theological mask” of modern political movements, specifically Trumpism. In the current “Age of Disruption” and “Trumpocene,” characterized by “artificial stupidity” and “absolute non-knowledge,” Dr. Buch’s Spiral Historiography and Dynamic of Cognition (DoC) offer a curative response. By mapping the robust intellectual culture of Queensland and Australia, Buch restores human authorship to a public narrative currently suffering from “Historical Forgetfulness”. The plea demands that the “powers that be” recognize this work not as a “museumized” history, but as “philosophy in practice” that warrants a contractual commitment to foster a Contributory Economy.
